This very day I was inspired of the Lord to start this journal to share the truths I am learning from the Scripture. I believe the benefits are at least two-fold: to share with you and to help me remember by the retelling. I am sure many more benefits will be revealed as the blog progresses.
I take notes in an effort to somehow 'capture' what I learn. How exciting to have this format to capture and share what, up until now, has been scribbled on the backs of church bulletins.
If this is a blessing to only me and one other person, it will be a worthy undertaking.
The challenge will be in the pacing-there is so much from God's Word to learn, so much to share, I want to have a hundred posts already!
This is a private blog, meaning you must be invited to be a reader. However, it is free for you to share with anyone you wish, should you find something worthy to pass along.
My purpose is not to expound or be preachy, simply to record my notes as a resource, a well from which to come and dip.
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we could walk in them. Ephesisans 2:10
My hope and prayer is that this will be a good work for the Lord.

I think this is a great idea, as I have always liked taking sermon notes (back when I still sent my kids to the nursery) but never really went back to them much, if at all, after church.
ReplyDeleteI always see you taking such good notes, so I will be glad to be able to read them and your synopsis! :)
