Masaya

Today we saw a smokin' hot volcano and found some smokin' hot deals at the market!

You can't tell by this picture, but we had been coughing and sputtering from the sulfuric gases!

The park recommends only 20 minutes at the crater.  Now I know why. 

I was so busy trying to keep up with me little guide/interpreter/personal shopper, that I forgot to take pictures of the market until we were on the way out.  There were hundreds of stores selling all kinds of goods: leather, hammocks, purses, shoes, jewelry, pottery, wooden items, paintings, knick knacks, and even an assortment of paddy-wacks....I could go on and on....
