Sunday Afternoon/ Night in Amarillo

Bobby and I spent almost three hours at the Panhandle Plains Historial Museum.

We enjoyed it immensely and took lots of pictures.
You can thank me for only posting 2.

This is Palo Duro Canyon:
In a word: SPECTACULAR
We were on the way to "Texas".

Down, down, down into the canyon
T E X A S was awesome!
We could not take pictures of course, but then, pictures wouldn't do it justice.

The stage and the 'backdrop'.
This picture was taken right at dusk. I've enlarged and edited as best I can.
The little speck at the top of the ravine is a deer.
